Overview

Fastest Labs is a premier provider of non-medical drug, alcohol and DNA testing services to small and large businesses and individuals.  We pride ourselves on delivering fast, accurate and confidential test results with exceptional customer service. With over 300 locations in the US, Fastest Labs is rapidly expanding in New Jersey  and is seeking a detail-oriented collections lab technician to work in our Union location.  In joining us, you will have the opportunity to grow in skills and in leadership. This hands-on position administers drug, alcohol and DNA testing services, provides support to customers and other franchises, conducts telephone sales calls to leads along with completing assigned  administrative tasks required to run the lab.

This position requires a high level of customer service, an extremely positive attitude and an ability to work without direct supervision after completing your training.

No medical experience is necessary; we provide all the training necessary to become a certified collector/technician.  We are looking for career-minded team members who want to grow into a leadership role in a rapidly growing company.

Males are encouraged to apply due to Department of Transportation observed urine testing requirements.

This is a full-time, on-site position. No holidays, work 9:00 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday (1-hour non-paid lunch break).  Some overtime may be required depending on the customer account which may include a weekend.

The Ideal candidate is a quick learner with an urgency to become an expert in your role; has enthusiasm for learning the business and working with our corporate and personal testing clients to provide excellent customer service.

Primary Responsibilities

Administer drug and alcohol tests (urine, hair, saliva, breath)
Collect and process DNA samples
Maintain accurate documentation and chain-of-custody procedures
Ensure cleanliness and compliance with lab protocols
Provide professional customer service in both English and Spanish
Educate clients on testing options and recommend appropriate services
Promote additional services and packages to walk-in clients
Support front desk operations and assist with inbound inquiries
·         Collect payments from clients before administering a personal test

·         Ensure customer satisfaction, reporting any issues to management including drafting responses to negative reviews & customer feedback

Qualifications:

·         Minimum 2 years of work experience (customer service, retail, etc.). Experience in a similar role such as BAT/urine collector or phlebotomist a positive but not required

·         Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred

·         Male candidates encouraged to apply (for gender-specific testing protocols)

·         High school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a background check.

·         Proficient in Word, Excel, use of a tablet; Google products and willing to learn new software and technologies.

·         Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; must be able to follow procedures

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

·         Has a valid driver’s license. A reliable car is a plus.
